Emily Crane Chadbourne, Philanthropist with Timothy Hunt and Gail Many – POSTPONED

Marbletown Historian, Gail Many and Mr. Timothy Hunt, will present a talk on Emily Chadbourne, a past resident of Marbletown, NY.

Ms. Chadbourne was a collector known for her interest in Americana. Her influence extended into many historical organizations and libraries in Ulster County. Ms. Chadbourne donated one of her properties on Marbletown’s Main St., in the early 1960′,s to become an extension of the existing Stone Ridge Library. She was legendary for her donations of art, cultural items and furniture to several historic sites in UC.

Mr. Hunt lives in an historic stone house on Main St. once owned by Ms. Chadbourne.
